TO THE MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS OF THE FIFTH AVENUE ASSOCIATION, INC:

SUBJECT: Convention of the Loyal Order of Moose, July 27th to August 1st.

The Supreme Convention of the Loyal Order of Moose will meet in New York the last five days of July, during which time it is expected that upwards of 30,000 visitors will come from all parts of the United States and Canada.

We are informed that this is the first convention of a large fraternal society to be held in the City of New York, and the members of The Fifth Avenue Association are cordially invited to extend an appropriate welcome to these visitors, so that they will feel that New York is glad to greet them.

You are, therefore, earnestly asked to display the National Flag and otherwise decorate your places of business with bunting, as you may deem proper from July 26 to August 1st, inclusive, during which time the members of the Loyal Order of Moose will be assembled here in convention.

Assuring you that your co-operation will be fully appreciated, I am

Yours very truly

Thomas W. Hughes
Secretary

P.S. For the information of our members, and in order to guide them in the proper way of displaying the National Flag, we are enclosing, herewith, extracts of such regulations as have been adopted on "Flag Etiquette".
