[[underlined]] THE NATIONAL FLAG - HOW TO DISPLAY IT [[/underlined]]

When a number of flags are grouped and displayed from staffs, the flag of the United States should be in the center or on the highest point of the group.

In any scheme of decoration, no flag should be placed above or to the right of the flag of the United States.

When the flag is displayed other than by being flown from a staff, it should be displayed flat whether indoors or out.

When either horizontally or vertically against a wall, or in a window, the union (or stars of the flag) should be uppermost to the flag's own right (the left of the observer).

When festoons, rosettes or drapes are desired, [[underlined]] use bunting. [[/underlined]] It is [[underlined]] not [[/underlined]] correct to use the Flag in this manner.
