November 8th., 1973.

Dear Muriel:

I'm delighted that you are becoming the owner of the Stephens watercolor, and it will make its debut at our Master Drawings exhibition with a red star! And as you probably will have heard, the Colombel painting is now on its way to the museum, for consideration.

I agree with you about Michael Straight, as I too have found him a very warm, friendly person.

At the moment it would seem that the matter of the African sculpture has been resolved, at least until and unless we hear of its safe arrival "back home".

Germain and I shall be looking for you towards the end of the month when the drawing show will still be up - it runs through Saturday, December the 8th.

Love from us both,

Mrs. Theresa D. Parker.
