           Forgive this tardy letter but its been bedlam here- the house bulging at the seams with two nephews, one's wife & baby & the others best girl plus the Colonel.  The maids are quite addled!  New Orleans takes its holidays seriously two & three parties an evening-& me up at 8 wrestling with all of the necessary daily business plus the end of the year decisions-  I just pray I didn't make too many mistakes! The Colonel loved it all.
