February 16, 1961 Dear Theresa- What a wretch you must think me- I firmly intended not only to call you but To see you while I was in New York but the two last snow storms really did me in. I finished up the urgent things and flew down last Friday Here the weather at least has been heavenly- bright and warm & carnival or I should say Mardi Gras quite fun this year. I will probably stay down here until the spring thaw in New York unless I get Too [[underline]] bored [[underline]] with the good life & the stupid conversation You'll be pleased to know
