August 4, 1952 Memo on publicity for d'Arenberg collection: Magazines contacted:Vogue Harper's Bazaar Town and Country Mademoiselle Charm Park East House and Garden Vogue editor has been photostats and wants to see actual manuscripts, also wants to check with Mr. Adams at Morgan Library, after he is notified by Seligmann Gallery. Vogue plans to cover this exhibit in some way for November 15 issue. House and Garden has seen photostats but they do not feel the collectin is their kind of subject matter. Charm magazine interested in doing a full page color reproduction for Christmas issue, but must see actual manuscripts first. Park East at the moment not too interested in photographing but will let me know this week about a possible spot release on the exhibit for November issue. Town and Country, Harper's, Mademoiselle are setting up appointments this week to see photostate books. Contacted editor of Library of Congress Literary Journal who will supply info on personnel to be informed at Library and other socities in Washington.
