SYNDICATES

Associated Press
United Press
International News Service

Where we can persuade the syndicates to take already prepared stories of the Collection and Exhibition, will do so. In most instances, however, they prefer an interview. This would be some six weeks in advance of the Exhibition.

Bell Syndicate - L. L. Stevenson interview

McNaught Syndicate - Whitney Bolton interview or story.

King Features - Alice Hughes story

INP or ACME - picture layout on highlight of the Collection.

American Weekly Magazine - feature possible pegged on the religious aspect of the Collection.

New York Times Magazine Section - by-line article possibly by Mr. Laloire on the Collection.

Sunday Mirror Magazine Section - Is often interested in "unearthed" or "hidden" manuscripts. Since the collection has not been seen for so many years, it should, I believe, interest them.

This Week Magazine, and/or Parade on Christmas connotations of the Collection.

NEW YORK NEWSPAPERS

World Telegram and Sun - feature and interview by Sally McDougal. All daily papers-news story on opening of exhibition & history of collection.
Post-Week end edition - story
Christian Science Monitor- general overall story on history of Collection, exhibit, etc.
Daily Mirror - Sidney Fields interview with Mr. Seligmann on history of collection; how he persuaded D'Arenbergs to let it come to America, etc.
Column items - social such as Knickerbocker and Ventura, and general, such as Walker, Kilgallen, etc.

RADIO & TV

There are a few very good radio and TV interview programs. These could be done by either Mr. Seligmann or Mrs. Parker, to be scheduled just in advance and currently with the exhibition. Among the more valuable programs are:

Mary Magaret McBride, Margaret Arlen, Alma Dettinger, This is New York, Luncheon at Sardi, Tex & Jinx, Nancy Craig.
