Dear Miss Francis:
Enclosed you will find a copy of the agreement we have have just entered into, which now bears my signature. 

I am also attaching a check for Three Hundred Dollars, which is the first of the three monthly instalments. The second check will be sent you on September 22nd and the third on the 22nd of October.

As you know, I am leaving tomorrow afternoon to be gone until September 2nd, but I shall look forward to hearing from you as to the progress made and new ideas at intervals while I am away.
