March 21st., 1952.

Dear Mrs. Francis:

Remembering my promise to let you know whether Mr. Seligman was successful in purchasing any of the Redon pastels and drawings from our recent exhibition, I am sending you this note.

Those which have been acquired are now here at the gallery, where it would be a pleasure to welcome you again.

May I tell you that at least thirty private collectors and museums have asked to be informed whether we were able to purchase any of the pictures, and that aside from one museum, you are the first person to whom word is being sent.

Have you heard anything from Richard Florsheim recently? I have had a single letter.

Yours very sincerely,

Mrs. Muriel Francis,
407 East 50th. St.,
New York, N.Y.
