Dear Mrs. Francis:

This morning I spoke to Mr. Seligman about your interest in Redon. I must admit, however, that I am more than hazy as to which one you inquired about on Saturday.

Nevertheless, I felt that you would want to know that he hopes to acquire some of the works we are exhibiting before the drawings and pastels are returned to their European owners.

That will not be until early spring mid-March because, as you know, when the exhibition will have closed here, it will go to the Cleveland Museum and thereafter to Walker Art Center, Minneapolis.

Should you, meanwhile, wish to see Mr. Seligman on this topic, he would be delighted to discuss the matter with you.

It was a great pleasure to have you with us and we hope you will drop in again.
