Last April I promised that if I were to find a connection between the de Broglie family and Mme. de Stael I would let you know. This was in reference to the painting of Mme. d'Haussonville by Ingres at the Frick. At last I came across the enclosed reference which comes from the catalogue of the Ingres exhibition held at the Fogg last winter.
