P.S. Just when I was about to close this letter, my attention was called to the close resemblance of the two angels of my painting to the one in the center panel in the triptych of the "Buisson Ardent" by Nicholas Froment, as well as to those in "Grisaille" on the reverse of the wings of the same painting, though mine, of course, is considerably earlier than 1475 (date of the "Buisson Ardent") -

as well as to the angels in the "Vierge Glorieuse Triptych" by the Maitre de Moulins in the Cathedral of Moulins, and again to the "Grisailles" on the exterior of the two wings, though once more they are considerably later (1490). However, there exists between these and my "Pieta" a fascinating link. What do you think?
