When I was about to close [[strikethrough]]my[[/strikethrough]] this letter - my attention was called to the close resemblance of the two angels of my ptg. to the [[strikethrough]]angel[[/strikethrough]] one in the center panel in the triptych of the "Buisson Ardent" by Nicolas Froment as well as to those in "grisaille" on the reverse of the wings of the same ptg. though mine of course is considerably earlier than 1475. ([[strikethrough]]the[[/strikethrough]] date of the Buisson Ardent) - as well as to the angels [[strikethrough]]of[[/strikethrough]] in the "Vierge Glorieuse Triptych" by the Maitre de Moulins in the Cathedral of Moulins - and again to the grisaille on the exterior of the two wings - Though once more they are considerably later - (1490 However there exists [[strikethrough]]there[[/strikethrough]] between these and my Pieta a [[strikethrough]]exciting[[/strikethrough]][[strikethrough]][[?]] connection [[/strikethrough]] a fascinating link - What do you think - ?
