Dear Dr. Friedlander:

This will serve as a letter of introduction to you for Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Sullivan, who are going to spend a little time in Germany and who would be interested in purchasing some very fine paintings.

I told them, of course, that they would have no better guide than you and that if you were in Berlin, I felt sur you would be pleased to be their mentor.

It is so long since I have been in your city that I am unable to give them any sort of information as to what collections they should visit, or even what dealers!

Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan are most anxious to meet you, and I feel certain that you, in turn, will enjoy their company.

Trusting you are in good health, and with my kindest regards, I am,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
