Dear Madam,-

On account of the death of Mr. Jacques Seligmann, we have to inform you that we are not authorized to continue the payments made to you by his orders.

Mr Germain Seligmann, his son, is however willing to make to you two more payments on his own account, and we hand you enclosed check for $15,-- At the end of December we shall send you one more check, according to his instructions.
