Paris, September 20th 1937

Dear Liechti,

This is just to acknowledge receipt of your registered letter of Sept.7th., in which I duly found the Seaforth & Child correspondence, as well as copy of the letter of Princess Thurn & Taxis, to whom I am writing directly from here;

I have sent you to-day a cable of which you will find herein a copy.

As stated, we have received no payment whatsoever from Mr. Horst.

The reason why I have mentioned Mr. Waegen in connection with the Furst-Hearst matter, is that Mr. Waegen might have some way of approaching Mr. Hearst, and furthermore he is the one who called my attention to the financial difficulties of this man.

Bien wishes-
