Dear Sir:

Being without a reply to our letters of January 27th and February 11th, we take it as an indication that you are in full accord with us regarding their contents.

We are, therefore, billing Mr. William R. Hearst (copy of invoice enclosed) for the two (2) Gothic mantelpieces sold to him through your intermediary for the net price of $5,000.- (five thousand dollars), as we take it for granted that you have already received from Mr. Hearst the commission of $600.- due you on this transaction.

In order to prevent this letter from going astray, we are taking the liberty of registering it.

   Believe us to be

         Yours very truly,
         JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO., Inc.
