Mr Eberhart,
Dear Sir.
The [[Com?]] on teachers and the Treas. have held a long conference together on the present liabilities of the [[Com on T?]] & the apparent possibilities of the Treasury.

Mr. Hooper stated that you had on hand, Oct 1st $111.

I was requested to write to you, that, in our present condition, we do not venture to promise you for the present more than $100 per month. (one hundred) which you can draw from the Treasurer, and appropriate in such salaries as you judge best. This is independent of the two Teachers in Columbus, Mr. Barfield & Miss Fowler.
