Dear Sir,

Your letter came in my absence. I regret that I failed to meet you when I was in GA. But we must now employ the pen in the accomplishment of our business. 

I wish to secure money from you to put in good order for school purposes our Church edifice at Newman, Oxford and Griffin. We will rent them to you for school purposes at a fair compensation and commence school in them immediately after Their completion.  Our teachers are already at work in Oxford and Griffin with much success. The building at Griffin needs repairing to make it comfortable. Will you
