I have just received your plan and will lay it before people I think you had better come down and assist in putting it  in operation. As it conflicts so much with Mr Alrards plans and assurances to the Colored people I fear it will not be readily adopted. If our Abord was [?] and would gain it his support. I think it could be adopted and would be more equitable and beneficial. Your allowance of teachers however is too small. Fifty for a teacher is enough in this [?] [?] cannot labor as many hours as at the church and if my judgement as observation is correct a good [?] teacher can do more for fifty than a southern  born Colored teachers for theirs.
