Sir: Your Communication of 10 Inst is recd. In reguard to the [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] School room I will stand all responsibilities for the rent. The Patrons are willing to pay me for the rent. There was a misunderstanding conserning the room it will not be $20 per month. I have seen those of them who consider themself the leading patrons and they are willing to pay at the end of term what the house cost me It will have to be moved & some little reparing. & I shall have it done in order to commence School as soon as I hear from you again.

The opinion of the parents of those I design teaching are; they believe I will endevor to learn and increas the knoledge of their Children I have talk with the most of them and they say that I would take more interest in learning Colored people than any other I can only say, I will do the best I can. 

I might have known the recommendation you recd. from strangers were of no enterest. I shall [[now?]] preparitory to Commence teaching as soon
