very tame, allowing approach within 2 or 3 yards. Dulus dominicensis nesting at Furcy (circ. 1000 m.) May - 1920 making small nests - 1 foot (circ.) in diam. of pine needles in tall pine trees - instead of the usual high community nests of this species. altho. at Fonds Vareths (Mission) a big nest seen in a tall pine. one tree at Furcy had 4 of these smaller nests. Each apparently occupied by 2 pairs.
