I am afraid tomorrow may be hot. I suppose we are lucky to have so much of cool liveable weather. the paper says showers tomorrow, with south wind. Mrs Osbourns daughter Bessie is having a terrible time with ulserated teeth. she is to have three out but her jaws are too stiff, since having the first ones extracted. her mother thinks she should have had them all out the first time but the Dr said it was too much to go through at one time. the matter flew onto window curtain. I guess she put off the job too long.

Our grass over to the old place is too dried up to mow this man who came to mow the lawn told me that was the case down where he lives lots of grass is too dried up to mow. I would like to kick old Mike Williams into the middle of next week he is to blame just wait untill I see him. theres always something to worry about, when you are not able to see to things your self. I wish I could pass on & done with it. no one comes to see us & theres nothing to write about. I think little Doris is getting ahead pretty fast in reading & number work she will pass when she goes to school in the fall. Ma

Cloudy this morning but no rain

Transcription Notes:
There are about 3 or 4 grammatical errors in the letter. I am not sure about the name Thunlr but that's the name I believe is in the letter. NOTE: Not a name; it is "the Dr."
