Thursday night

Dear Doris,

I am sending this letter along. it was brought once this afternoon by George Ring it will explain its self did you ever know I could have done such a thing as this it certainly scares me I forget to stamp my letters & now this.

Well Amy & Rachie came over to call this afternoon. She asked if you came up the second time to the funeral she was there but failed to get a glimpse of you & asked to be remembered to you she wants to see you when you come again if she is around here. This has been a very nice day I went out in the back yard where Pete McGarvey was piling up rocks. his wife saw us so she & the little boy came up to see me the little one has had a touch of asthma this winter & the mother has been sick in bed a week with grip she is not over it yet it has gone into her cheek she has tick dolereux [[tic douleureux]] the nerve is very painful. Pete says he never suffered with the cold as he has done this winter he has frozen both ears
