Record of complaints made by Freemen in the Sub. Dist. of Tupelo Miss. in obedience to and since the receipt of Circular No. 10 Dated office Asst. Com'r. for the State of Miss Vicksburg Miss. Aug. 10th 1867.

Freedman George Wilson made affidavit at this office that on Sunday the 18th inst. Daniel Munn and his wife Lucinda Munn did beat his wife Sarah Wilson in a severe and inhuman manner without provocation.

A warrant was issued on the affidavit of said George Wilson for the arrest of said Munn & wife.  When the case came up for trial said Wilson denied ever making any complaint against them (Munn & wife) and would not testify against them.  This ended the case.
