Jefferson Colwell (Colored) complains that a double barrelled shot gun was forcibly taken from him by a Mr T.A.P. Herris in Aug 1866.-
Statement taken case referred to Mr T.A.P Herris who reported at this office and reported that he knew nothing of the circumstances whatever - Jefferson Colwell sent for - not yet reported at this office -

4th Aug 10th 1867 -

Eli Henderson (Colored) complains that Mr J.F. Manor with whom he was working under Contract failed to comply with his portion of it, that he had had to leave the place and without settlement to as much -for services rendered - Statement taken and referred to Mr J.F. Manor and statement requested from himself - not heard from -

5th Aug 13th 1867 -

George Westmoreland (Colored) complains that he finds it impossible to collect the monthly payment agreed upon from his employer H.L. Taylor that his family are sick and need medicines &c.
