Aug. 13th 
Judge Bryant in Case of Jessee Lee Col.
have heard witnesses on both sides & decided the Case in favor of Jessee Lee. he still keeps the mule & dray.

Thornton Franklin Col.
Complains of Saml. Towndsend appeared I heard his statement under Oath.  Thornton has had a good contract & would have done well if he had worked.  Mr Towndsend is still willing for Thornton to stay on the place 
Thornton says he will go back on the place  I think it is the best thing he can do

Mrs Sarah Caldwell
Complains that Ben. Pinkhard Col. has shut up her Cows  I have heard both sides of the Complaint  Case dismissed

Levy Walker Col.
desires information about Tax on License on Drays & Hacks have referred him to the mayor of the City

Case of Charles Lowe & Mrs Clark Col.
Case referred from Asst Com.
Octavia Owens Col. on Oath. She saw the quarrel commence at Mr Schnetsfield[[?]] School she lives about two hundred yards from the School
