Bureau Refugees F. and A.L. Sub Dist of Williamsburg Williamsburg Miss. Oct. 1st 1867 Captain J.W. Sunderland A.A.A.G. Bu.R.F. and A.L. Vicksburg Miss Captain I have the honor herewith to make Special report in compliance with Circular No. 10 c.s. for month of August for the Sub Dist of Macon (of which I was agent) The whole number of Plantations visited was twenty five (25) in every case the freedmen possessed a knowlege of their privileges as to their right to vote. I found but one case were[[where]] they had been at all interfered with and I made a special Report in that case during the month of August. One reason for the freemen being informed was, the Board of Registrars had been at all the Precincts except two in the Sub Dist before I received instructions to visit the plantations. over
