I have the honor to report that, during the month of August 1867 I visited in Noxubee County fifteen plantations, and in Winston County eight, in almost every instance I found the freedmen were very well informed as to their privelges of regesting and voting, in both the counties the Registrant had been in the different precincts. I would say that the effect produced upon the freedmen by my visits was benificial in every instance, the employers was very anxcious for me to explain to them, the relations existing between the employee & themselves. The duties of my Office has increased so much, that I have
