Wilburn (white) had apprenticed to him by the Civil Courts a daughter of Antonettes aged 15 years, with out her previous consent, she further stated to me, when I informed her to recover her child by Writ of Habeas Corpus that she had not the means to apply to Civil authorities, I investigated her claims and ascertained beyond a doubt her legal right to the Child and I ordered Mr. Wilburn to deliver the Child into the custody of the Mother which was promptly done by Mr. Wilburn, thereby saving the Mother (who is old and feeble the trouble and expense incident to Civil proceedings.
