Complaint:- That Defendant has a cow, belonging to the Plaintiff, which he refuses to deliver up.

Oct. 29. Letter from Defendant, stating that the claim of Plff. is a sheer pretence, and asking that the investigation be deferred until after his return from Boliver County court, next week.
