Case No 3.
John Gewin a planter charged with having driven laborers form his mothers plantation during time embraced in Contract of 1866-
Required to pay the parties their proportion of the entire crop - Also charged with threatening (Freedmen) with deadly weapons -
Complaint presented to Magistrate & afterwards settled by the parties.

Case No 4.
Ed A Freedman complains of division of crop. The case referred and Mr Edwards employer, gave note in settlement for $38,58 payable the 1st day of January next with interest.

Case No 5.
Mingo Alice complains of his old master Wm Alice about division of crops, the case adjusted for the present.

Case No 6.
John Overstead Freedmen complains of non-fulfillment of Contract by Mrs. Gewin for the year 1866. this case to be referred-

Case No 7
John Roberts (Freed) complains of Judge Buchanan that he drove him off after the crop was partly made, without settlement, It was shown that John was a trifling boy, and that the Judge had paid him in full.
