Oct. 5. 
Simon Hughes complained that Harvey Stribling would not allow him to remove his family from his place, also that he would not pay him for work done, directed Mr. Stribling to allow Simon to remove his family and to settle amicably which was done. 
Oct. 7. 
Marcus Wilson affidavit forwarded from Meridian Stating that James Wilson had not paid him for his work in 1866, also that ten hogs were killed by Mr Wilson which Marcus wanted pay for, investigated the case and found that Marcus had contracted and was to have all the crop be raised on a certain piece of land, and that the hogs had nearly died of disease. the advances made by Mr. Wilson being sufficient to offset his work.
Oct. 12. 
Henry Baxtrum complained that David Baxtrum had taken possession of his crop of corn without his consent. Mr. Baxtrum claimed the crop for supplies furnished Henry. directed Mr. Baxtrum to make out his account of supplies furnished, and to not interfere with the crop until he did so, case continued until balance of crop, corn and cotton, was gathered and secured.
