Case [[left margin]] 1867 Oct 14 [[/left margin]] Miles Wallis (freedman) complains that that the Meridian and Selma Rail Road is indebted to him for 11 days work during the month of August Action Taken The Superintendent of the Meridian and Selma Rail Road is ordered to investigate and report upon this case Case [[left margin]] Oct 17 [[/left margin]] George Lloyd (freedman) complains that Austin Lloyd fired off a shot gun at him and broke stock of said gun over his (George Lloyd's) head Action Taken Austin Lloyd is arrested and confined in Guard House and George Lloyd is ordered to bring his witnesses in the case to this office on Friday Oct 18th at 10 A.M Disposition Austin Lloyd is ordered to pay George Lloyd $10.00 damage done to the gun the evidence not being sufficient to sustain the charge of shooting Case [[left margin]] Oct 19 [[/left margin]] Adam Adams (freedman) complains that
