SECOND ANUAL AMATEUR AIR PILOTS CRUISE

CHARLES LANIER LAWRENCE TROPHY
Starting Point Washington, D.C., August 27th, via Pittsburgh, Pa., and Akron, Ohio to arrive in Cleveland on the afternoon of Aug. 27th.

EVENT A
SPORTMAN PILOT RACE-Men and Women Pilots For C. or N. C. Department of Commerce Licensed Planes

Trophies
(1) Open to cabin or open type airplanes, carrying Department of Commerce Commercial License, having an advertised top speed not to exceed 110 miles per hour.

(2)See "General Rules and Regulations governing all Events" for definition of Sportsman Pilot.

(3)Six laps of a three and one-half mile course.

(4)Prizes-TROPHIES to be awarded to first three place winners.

SPORTSMAN PILOT RACE-Men and Women Pilots For C. or N.C. Department of Commerce Licensed Planes.
TROPHIES
(1)Open to cabin or open type airplanes, carrying Department of Commerce Commercial License, having an advertised top speed not to exceed 125 miles per hour.
(2)Six laps of a three and one-half mile course.
(3)Prizes--TROPHIES to be awarded to first three place winners.

Interclub Relay Race for Aviation Country Clubs
SPORTSMAN PILOT EVENT-Men and Women Pilots For C. or N.C. Department of Commerce Licensed Planes 
Trophies
(1)Open to any type airplane, open or closed, powered with motor or motors of any cubic inch displacement.
(2)Each club is to be represented by a team of four men. The Race is to be similar to a relay race on foot, except that instead of passing a baton members of each team will relieve each other at the controls. In other words, if there are four teams, four ships will line up at the start with the first member of each team at the controls. They will fly one lap, land within a restricted lane in front of the grandstand, and be relieved by the next members of their respective teams, until all four members of each team have flown the ship, The first team wins.
(3)Club Prize for winning team and individual prizes for its members.
