A 10:00 A.M. Event No.1-Free-for-all for men and women pilots. Total purse $400 and 15 points towards Sweepstake award. Open to any type of airplane, powered with an engine having not more than 200 cubic inch piston displacement. Qualifying speed- 100 miles per hour.

B 1:00 P.M.-Inaugural Ceremony. The Inaugural Ceremonial includes massed reassembly of the complete Inaugural Parade, organized by the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce for downtown Los Angeles, on the morning of Saturday, July 1st. Ceremonial also includes the official arrival of the participating U.S. Army Air Corps Units, U.S. Naval Air Service Units and US Marine Air Corps Units. Inaugural address by Mayor Frank L. Shaw.
