The National Air Races of 1933 - an epochal milestone in the colorful progress of aviation - a great civic project for Los Angeles and the West. California today enjoys the prestige of being host to this World Panorama of Aviation because of the collective financial sponsorship of the following firms and individuals:

The great good accruing to California and aviation through the successful staging of this National project interprets the splendid cooperation lent wholeheartedly and unselfishly by the City, County and State Departments and executives, the civic and service clubs, the metropolitan and state newspapers, radio broadcast companies, varied commercials and industrial institutions and individuals, who have been so alert to accept an opportunity to make this major civic objective - a coveted but intangible possibility a few weeks ago - a reality today.
