EVENT NO. 15 - 2:00 P.M.

Free-for-All - Men and Women Pilots

Total Purse - $400.00 - 15 Points Towards Sweepstake Award

Open to Motors of 200 Cubic Inch Displacement or Less

(1) Open to any type of airplane, powered with an engine having not more than 200 cubic inch piston displacement.

(2) Distance - 24 miles, 8 laps over a three-mile course.

(3) Qualifying speed - 100 miles per hour. Contestants must compete and qualify in straightaway speed dashes in order to be eligible for this event.

(4) Fifteen points will be awarded on this event towards Sweepstake prize, 5 to first place, 4 to second, 3 to third, 2 to fourth, 1 to fifth.

(5) Prize money - first prize - 45%; second prize - 25%; third prize - 15%; fourth prize - 10%; fifth prize - 5%.

EVENT NO. 16 - 3:00 P.M.

Free-for-All - Men and Women Pilots

Total Purse - $800.00 - 15 Points Towards Sweepstake Award

Open to Motors of 375 Cubic Inch Displacement or Less

(1) Open to any type of airplane, powered with an engine having not more than 375 cubic inch piston displacement.

(2) Distance - 50 miles, 10 laps over a five-mile course.

(3) Qualifying speed - 150 miles per hour. Contestants must compete and qualify in straightaway speed dashes in order to be eligible for this event.

(4) Fifteen points will be awarded on this event towards Sweepstake prize, 5 to first place, 4 to second, 3 to third, 2 to fourth, 1 to fifth.

(5) Prize money - first prize - 45%; second prize - 25%; third prize - 15%; fourth prize - 10%; fifth prize - 5%.

EVENT NO. 17 - 4:00 P.M.

Free-for-All - Men and Women Pilots

Toal Purse - $2,000.00 - 15 Points Towards Sweepstake Award

Open to Motors of 550 Cubic Inch Displacement or Less

(1) Open to any type of airplane, powered with an engine having not more than 550 cubic inch piston displacement.

(2) Distance - 100 miles, 20 laps over a five-mile course.

(3) Qualifying speed - 175 miles per hour. Contestants must compete and qualify in straightaway speed dashes in order to be eligible for this event.

(4) Fifteen points will be awarded on this event towards Sweepstake prize, 5 to first place, 4 to second, 3 to third, 2 to fourth, 1 to fifth.

(5) Prize money - first prize - 45%; second prize - 25%; third prize - 15%; fourth prize - 10%; fifth prize - 5%.

EVENT NO. 18 - 5:00 P.M.

CHARLES E. THOMPSON TROPHY RACE

International Free-For-All - Men and Women Pilots

Total Purse - $7500.00

and

Charles E. Thompson Trophy

(1) Open to any type of airplane equipped with any type of motor or motors.

(2) Qualifying Speed - 225 miles per hour. Contestants must compete and qualify in straightaway speed dash event No. 13 in order to be eligible for this event. 

(3) Distance - 200 miles over a ten-mile course.

(4) Prize money - first prize - 45% ; second prize - 25% ; third prize - 15% ; fourth prize - 10% ; fifth prize - 5%.

EVENT NO. 22

Parachute Jumping Contest

Total Purse - $200.00 - 15 Points Towards Sweepstake Award

(1) Jumper coming the closest to the spot in the center of the circle will be awarded first place, next closest second place, etc. 

(2) 15 points will be awarded in this event towards the Sweepstake prize, 5 to first place, 4 to second, 3 to third, 2 to fourth, 1 to fifth. 
(3) Prize money - first prize - 45% ; second prize - 25% ; third prize - 25% ; fourth prize - 10% ; fifth prize - 5%.

$2500.00 will be awarded as prizes on competitive events to be decided upon, which may include two altitude races for which permission has been requested from the National Contest Committee.
