JAPAN IS IDEAL SUMMER VACATION LAND

Japan with its modern tourist facilities well deserves the distinction of being the pleasantest recreation land of the colourful Far East in which to spend the Summer, as is proved by the fact that a great number of vacationists come from America, Canada, Manila, Hongkong, Shanghai and other parts of China to seek a cooler climate in Japan during the hot months. In fact, many mountain and seaside resorts afford cool, refreshing places of retirement, provided, in many cases, with natural hot springs, the calm sea beaches and picturesque lake shores, eminently fitted for bathing, boating, fishing, etc. The unlimited opportunities for mountain climbing, and various other outdoor enjoyments, are but a few of the attractions that combine to make Japan the most desirable Vacation Land. Moreover, numerous festivals, offering rare opportunity for tourists to witness the living picture of old Japan, take place here and there near the resorts.

The ocean voyage to reach the romantic Nippon, is itself an ideal holiday. The N. Y. K. Line offers frequent and speedy passenger service to many ports of interest.

It Costs So Little!

This is the time to go. The fares for world travel are so very low—and the American dollar will buy much more than it ever did on the long trail that leads from your door all the way around the globe and back again. Look at these fares.

$670 This is first class all the way around, traveling on such excellent ships as the Asama Maru, Chichibu Maru or Tatsuta Maru across the Pacific; and using such noted liners as the Cunarder, Berengaria, the Ile de France or Majestic on the Atlantic.

$445 Second Class accommodations across the Pacific and from Japan to England, Tourist Cabin across the Atlantic. Tours may be made either eastward or westward.

Here are quoted only two of the wide series of fares offered by the N. Y. K. Line. Due to fluctuations in exchange the fares are subject to change so that persons planning world tours are urged to make reservations at the earliest opportunity to take advantage of the low travel costs.
