(4) Pilots entering a ship after closing date must pay the original $25.00 entry fee, and in addition, $10.00 for each event they enter, none of which will be returned. 

(5) There is no entry fee for the Parachute Jumping Contest if entry is made before the closing date, midnight, August 15, [[strikethrough]] 10 [[/strikethrough]] 1934. Parachute jumpers entering the Parachute Jumping Contest after that date will have to pay an entry fee of $10.00 which will cover all events. This will not be refunded. 

(6) In all Closed Course Events where there are less than six entrants in the class on the starting line and ready to start, the Air Race Committee reserves the right to cancel that race and no prize money will be awarded. However, should the Contest Committee decide to run an event where there are less than six entrants on the line ready to start, only the same number of prizes that there are ships in the race will be paid. No race will be run with less than four starters. 

(7) An entry which contains a false statement shall be considered null and void and the entry fee shall be forfeited. 

(8) In case an entrant will not personally pilot the airplane entered, name of pilot and his license number must be filled out in entry blank. 

(9) Entry blanks will not be officially accepted by the Contest Committee unless complete information specified thereon is given. 

D - DIVISION OF PRIZES 

(1) There will be five prizes for each event, prizes to be awarded as follows: 1st Place-45%; 2nd Place-25%; 3rd Place-15%; 4th Place-10%; 5th Place-5%. In the event that there are not the required number of entrants for the race, and the Contest Committee decides to run the race, only the number of prizes that there are ships in the race will be paid. 

(2) Prize money will be paid at the pilots' meeting on the day following the event or after an equivalent length of time in case no protests have been filed. If protests have been filed in this period see G(4) below. In the event of a tie, the race will be flown off (pylon course) in a manner satisfactory to the contestants involved. 

(3) There will be no duplication of prizes. 

E - REJECTION AND EXCLUSION OF ENTRANTS 

(1) The Air Race Committee specifically reserves the right to reject any entrant or exclude any entrant for cause at any time, and without any obligation to rejected or excluded entrant or to anyone because of rejection or exclusion. 

(2) Among grounds for rejection or exclusion will be: 

(a) Fraud in representing, by his or her entry or attempted entry, that the plane, motor or pilot is qualified to compete in that specific event when the facts are otherwise.
