Combat Record - Veteran of World War II and of missions in the China-Burma-India Theater, flying "over the hump." With 86th Fighter Group in Germany 1949-1952. Flew 148 combat missions.

Family - wife (Patricia) and four children, Kathleen Ann, 7; James, 5; Michael, 3 and Barbara Ellen, 1.
Graduate - United States Military Academy, 1945.
Assignment - test pilot.
Record - Before reporting to Fighter Operations Section, Directorate of Flight and All-weather Testing, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, he was stationed in Germany.
