Combat Record - Logged 134 combat hours in Korea to add to his 465 combat hours in Europe during World War II. Credited with destroying 5-1/2 in Korea and 18-1/2 in Europe. Decorations - Distinguished Service Cross with one Oak Leaf cluster; Distinguished Flying Cross with two Oak Leaf clusters; Air Medal with 12 Oak Leaf clusters; Silver Star, etc.
