The "Corporal," an electronically controlled, surface-to-surface guided missile, is now in full production at the Firestone Defense Products Plant in Los Angeles. This versatile weapon, traveling at several times the speed of sounds, enables the field commander to strike selected targets deep in the enemy rear, without regard to weather or visibility.

Firestone is proud to have been selected by the government for the important job of building the "Corporal," proud of this recognition by the Ordnance Division of the superiority of Firestone's scientific and manufacturing facilities.
