Enclosed please find copies of the testimonials received for Mr. Pyne which will show you why we gave him a commission. We shall expect soon to hear the result of [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] your investigation in the case.

You have already been informed of our expectations in regard to Miss Leonard and we asked her to report to you at Atlanta and ascertain what room she should occupy at Columbus for the school which is to be in her charge, with Miss Gayle as assistant.
