Dear Sir
I have written you a a letter a few days ago stating the condition of the school, it is a failure, since I resume my duties, but few of the pupils attended The people have got a new idea [[strikethrough]] in [[/strikethrough]] that the government pays me. and therefore they have no disposition of paying the tuition. I cannot get any money from them; the committee has promised to let me have some money on the first of this month, but I have not received any as yet. I wish you would let me know if there is the least possible chance of I getting a school please let me hear from you as soon as possible. if there is no chance, I shall go to Rome, and try my chances there: I am fast recovering from my sickness, but still quite weak and nervous.
