[[stamp]] THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF THE UNITED STATES [[stamp]] Augusta Ga Dec 9th 1867 Dear Rev Ware Since I wrote you Saturday I have read the enclosed letter from Mr. Smith. It was directed to me at Macon instead of Augusta which accounts for its late arrival. You see what his notions are. I fear we shall realize but little out of these school buildings for the erection of a Normal School building in the future, if they are located as now proposed. I am sorry that they were not sold as I understand there were bids as high as $400 cash for them
