Mr. E.A. Ware,

Dear Sir,
By direction of Mr. Rockwell, I write you for instructions regarding the enclosed items of our construction account. In what manner should the application be made to gain the promised appropriation? Will the Bureau cover more than the first mentioned sum - $100?

Mr. R. - has spoken of possible embarrassment in regard to Benches &c, being held as school property. I am entirely ignorant in the matter: - can secure the receipts of the men who executed the work; - Mr. R. will furnish bills for nails &c.

Please instruct me & furnish necessary forms for application.

Respectfully.
Meary S. Battey.
