I have received a long letter of instruction from the Society in Boston, and hope the difficulties here will soon subside. I really thank you for your suggestions, I shall endeavor to act upon them.

I am anxiously hoping the hospital buildings will be secured for school purposes, and that we shall have the means of immediately putting them into proper condition for schools; as I think we really need more schools.

Will you please ask Mr. Rockwell to send me an inventory of books & furniture stored here with prices, if he would like to dispose of them. Our teachers need some benches, blackboards books &c. and perhaps I may
