Sandersville 31st Dec 1867

Mr. E.A. Ware
Sup Education.

Dear Sir

I have the honor of making my monthly report to you. I have Blanks on which they might be made- But as I have nothing to report it seems a waste of paper to fill a blank with cyphers -

My last report will answer for the present- I know of no school in operation during the past or present month for the freed children - and indeed the pecuniary embarrassments of our people, gives but meagre patronage to our best teachers - while - the question of living is paramount among the freedmen-

Very Respectfully
