We are behind some nine dollars for board & rent which makes me cautious about engaging another building I have decided to move into the colored people church, & shall do so at once if the windows can be closed up.
Capt. Finney is at present using an argument, which I think will tend to speedily break up the school, it is this, he says to the colored people "If you can not support your school & pay for the church lot why let your school rest, and pay for the lot."
This is a piece of ground on which the church stands, which they hope to get cleared, in order that Government, may aid in repairing the building for school purposes. Now I am just as anxious to get their lot cleared as anyone is, but at the same time I want the school to go on, & such\b talk to the Hacks will soon.
